About

The families’ enjoyment for camping all started when Ed was very young. His parent’s had taken the family all over the United States in a tiny pick-up camper and were able to see many sites such as Mount Rushmore and Niagara Falls. Ed wanted to continue his enjoyment of camping so his family purchased their first camper in 2010 – a 1996 Class A Winnebago.

After several extended family camping trips, Ed’s sister expressed her feelings of being not so keen on tent life, yet not wanting to have the responsibility that comes with owning a camper. She loved being with on these camping adventures but was always asking Ed to find a unit for her family to borrow or rent.

Summer after summer went by and it became tough to find something for her family.  Then other people he knew had also mentioned how they would love to go camping as well, yet also did not or could not afford to purchase a unit of their own. This was when Ed had the idea of starting the camper rental business……. the rest is history!

2022: We went to Lake of the Ozarks and spent 7 days down in that area visiting the Missouri State parks. Is was a great time with no plans. Then we made a late trip in October up The grand Marais area and even made it to the tip on Minnesota and zoomed into Canada for about an hour. Great times at the Minnesota Sate parks.

2023: We went on a trip with our neighbors to Madeline Island where we took a ferry with the camper. Never had done this, and it was worth the ferry cost. Highly recommend it. We also went up to the Duluth area and stayed at Buffalo House for a family wedding. Another Great year of camping and making memories.

2024: We are changing from a family of 3 to a family of 4 around May. The neighbors annual summer camping trip is to Itasca State Park in early June. We are hoping to go. We love hitting up the State Parks. Excited for the memories we will make this year.
